So Brian & I are sitting here in the airport about to board our plane to our first wedding of 2010. What better way to start off the new year than with an amazing destination wedding with a fabulous couple in the Bahamas, yeh, we love our job. So Divine light friends, we just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Years and let you know that we will be out of the office through Jan. 4th. We will have limited access to email & phone service, so all calls and emails will be returned when we return. So put on your party hats, get all your friends together, and blow something up for goodness sake! Its New Years, and its only american after all. See you next year! Brian & Briana

Like many of you, we are about to embark on our Christmas day traditions with family and friends and we hope everyone shares the same love and blessings that we do on this wonderful day. We have so much to be thankful for and you are one of them. So, have an amazing day everyone and share some love today with someone. Cheers.

We had such an amazing year and wanted to bring a few of those moments back on our blog. Its so amazing being a photographer and being able to travel through time in a way and re-visit events and places through photography. We enjoy this blessing and always hope we bring the same joy to everyone who hires us or just shares a piece of life with us.

Also on this day a revolutionary President takes office, making us very proud of our country and 2009 is set to be a year of change and progress for our business as well as we will continue our photography here in Florida as well as a few nation and worldwide destinations already in the books. Also, some exclusive DLweddings events and products to revealed this year as well.

I know this isn't wedding related whatsoever but I (brian) had so much fun a few weeks back shooting a show at the CZAR nightclub in Ybor City showcasing a few local clothing designers, artists, and bands. The shot below is probably my favorite of the night. The model is wearing a one-of-a-kind piece by 'Suspicious Package'. Totally awesome!

a couple weeks ago myself (briana) went up to greet and hang with my good friend Kim, and my other two new buds Josh & Caleb (Kims brand new TWINS). we had a great time, and well, i can tell i am going to like these guys already, i mean come on, look how good these little dudes look in front of the camera! When you look this good, how can you possibly go wrong (wink). Anyways, with Kims husband Ellicoit currently in Haiti, some of us are lending a helping hand to our good friend Kimbo, and well, you know its hard for me to help with out coming home with a few good pics, so here goes, enjoy!

Hello friends, briana here. I am soooo sorry, i have been a wee slakerly in my blogging lately, but, i decided to share a bit of pics from my recent trip to Tela, Honduras. Honduras, if you dont already know, is by my opinion one of the most gorgeous countries, in the world! I may be a bit biased, because when i was younger i spent an amazing week there and God totally rocked my socks off. Well, all that to say i have been yearning to return ever since, and when my two bestest buds, (Marlyse & Brooke) told me they would be spending a week there on their way home from Belize, well i just had to join them! Honduras, you have been good to me, heres some pics of my journey, enjoy!!! - briana

The day was hot and Florida's summer was in full effect Saturday so we decided to cool off at our good friend's, Brett & Marlyse's pool. We had a bunch of fun with all our pups and friends. Molly (our oldest jack russell) swam almost constantly for like 3 hours! She's crazy. Rufus was fearless and tried to swim but his little legs weren't up for it yet and he started to sink . So, we fished out and we'll have to give it a few more months. Anyway, we decided to bring our trusty 5d along for some shots. Check em out.

The folks at Dont Box Us In are so cool! They feature photographers in the wedding industry who strive to make their work original, fresh and 'Outside of the Box' of traditional (boring) wedding photography. The create an environment on their site of learning and growing in our trade that is much needed. They recently did a topic on 'Before & After', the results of creative post production techniques and chose a few of my recent works to feature on the site. Rufus is our new Jack Russell Terrier puppy we just adopted yesterday. He is so cute and cuddly as any puppy would be. He is our second fur-baby since we loved our first, Molly, so much we just had to get another. Molly had some boundary issues with him at first but worked them out pretty quickly and now they play like crazy together. Here are a few of our first shots of him (there will be many more to come!).
